Happy One year

Well, I’ve been planning this day for a while now, today marks the one year anniversary that I created this blog and posted my first post about how I wanted to lose weight, Well, where have this blog and I been?

Well, I’ve lost 20 pounds, I’ve been on crutches, hyper extended my knee, spent three days in the hospital, started sophomore year, had a great season of golf, made the basketball team, completed the basketball season, realized that badminton wasn’t for me, and made endless attempts at posting daily and here we are, a year later with over 100 posts, over 400 followers, and so much support from all of you out there that makes me want to keep going. If I do say so, myself, that’s been a great year.

Now, even through all of the friendships and memories I’ve made on this blog, the outcome isn’t what I pictured. Before I hurt my knee, I thought I’d be 140 pounds at the end of summer, but I was 20 over, I thought I’d be slim and rocking that skin-tight dress to my dances, but it didn’t turn out that way. So, what I’ve decided to do is start over, from square one, and see if this summer can be even more successful than last, I started p90x today and I am very excited to get my butt kicked in the next 90 days, however, this blog carries baggage that I don’t want to deal with, so I am making a new blog,  I have yet to post or design anything yet, so it’s very barren, but I will get to posting ASAP. I want to not only talk about what I ate and random school updates, but also recipes, other workouts, and other random stuff that comes to mind.

So, it’s been an absolute joy with his blog, and this year has been marvelous.

Here’s to a New Year

Well, these past few days have been quite fun

  • I have committed myself to the 30 Day Shred, I will complete it this time, I know it,
  • This may end up being my January goal for 13 in 13
  • I put on three pounds…
  • I got a butt putt

Well, let’s begin,

I was at my grandpa’s house on Sunday for Christmas  with my dad’s side of the family. I didn’t eat much. For breakfast I had a yogurt and an apple. Oh, and a smoothie. And when we got there, I had some chips and salsa and a bit later, some pizza. I got 150 dollars from my grandpa, and aunts and uncles. Some socks from my cousins, and a ‘butt putt’ from my grandpa


Yes. it’s for practicing my putting obviously, and when you make it in the hole, the butt farts. Yay for me. There are 6 different noises in case you guys were wondering, which you probably weren’t.

While I was there, I weighed myself. I have put on 3 lbs in the past two weeks, but it was later in the day, so not completely accurate. Whatever.

I have also decided to start the 30 Day Shred tomorrow. My January goal for the 13 in 13 will be to complete the 30 Day Shred, because, in all my attempts, I have yet to complete it. But that’s what new years are for.

Anyway, t-minus 3 hours and 18 minutes until 2013, so while I’m posting, I’ll talk about today

Well, Happy New Year’s Eve.

For starters, I woke up at 5:30. Why? Don’t ask me. Anyway, I, for some reason walked downstairs, covered myself with a blanket and fell back to sleep in my dad’s recliner. Which, I then awoke at 8, better, not great, but better. For breakfast, I had an apple and a cookie, not great, but it’s New Year’s Eve. I was thinking about starting the No Junk Food Challenge but maybe, continuing it fr longer than the 21 days, which I have only completed once. Oops. the last time, I woke up, thinking that the challenge was over on the 21st, not the 22nd. I’m terrible, I know. Whatever. I really want to cut junk food out of my life because I feel worse after I have eaten it. The happiness is only momentarily.

Any who, I then went to Target, didn’t buy anything, and then spent about 7 hours at my friend’s house. we had grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch, with some barbeque Lays on the side. She was out-of-town for Christmas, and other than getting me a sweatshirt, she brought me back some pudding from a restaurant where she went. It’s like sitting on a chocolate cloud. 🙂 So, we shared some of the pudding, and then we played Just Dance 4. I got it as a Christmas present and so did she, so we decided to play it. After that, we watched the Jane Russell and Jeanne Crain movie, Gentlemen Marry Brunettes. It was really good. And then, I went home.

We are having appetizers right now, anticipating the New Year. I can’t wait! Happy New Year every one!!! 🙂

Today is a new day

Today is a new day.  And soon it will be November, a new month. I have been very busy this whole month and I apologize for not posting since the first of this month. I said that October would be my month and at the beginning of every year I say it will be my year but who am I kidding? If I have one good month that won’t change me completely and the same goes for one bad month. I have to make my life my life and by doing so not harping on my mistakes but by commending on my achievements. I have to take my life one day at a time. Life is like a game of golf. You know what shot you just took and now it is the opportunity whether to seize the opportunity and aim for the green or just hold onto the past and end up in the trees. There will always be days when you are in the trees, some times weeks; but you can get onto the green, one shot at a time.  So all of October I was pretty much in the trees, I was busy and so I didn’t post and so I got no comments from you readers which made me not motivated. I did the 30 day shred once and I stayed mostly on not eating over 1500 calories per day until his weekend. I don’t know what happened and quite frankly I don’t want to talk about it. I ate about 2000 calories one day and it wasn’t very healthy and that just led to more unhealthy choices and then it hit me, last night at about 10:30. I can change.  There are 30 weeks left until summer and I can get to m goal weight by then. I will get to my goal weight by then. I will ease my way into exercise as get back on track with my healthy eating habits. My new goal is to be 140 pound by May 24th, 2013. Which is the last day of school and 30 weeks from today. I can lose a pound a week and I will have the body I have always wanted. I believe I can and I will. Because this girl jut wants to be healthy.

October, my month

So, October is my month. It is the last month before basketball and I want to lose 5 pounds this month or more. I want to be in the 150s by October 31st. I am going to be 110% committed to doing the 30 Day Shred and doing whatever else I have to in order to succeed. I have slacked and I realize hat just eating healthy won’t get me to the body I want in the time I want, so here I am, taking a stab at exercise and my life again. Let’s do it.

Now, I must admit, that this epiphany occurred at about 6:30 this morning. So, I took some measurements of myself. I will be creating anew page that is just for October that will be posted within the day or two of these measurements, my daily exercise, etc.

Anyway, I woke up and had some cereal. And then i went to school. This week is homecoming week, and yes, there will be a picture of me in my dress on Saturday, don’t worry, Anyway, we have a spirit week and today was super hero day. You couldn’t have paid me to dress up in some of the things that kids did. Full on Spiderman, superman, and Captain America is a little overboard, Just saying. anyway, for lunch, I had a sandwich, applesauce, and some peanut butter crackers. We have a lack of food in my house. Darn. Anyway, in gym we did a stability ball workout. It is much easier in shorts than in yoga pants, to say the last. After school, I had to take my econ test which I missed on Thursday from golf. I got a 24/25. the best I have done on a test this year. Woo fricking HOO! then I had some pistachios and I came home, ate some chicken and a brownie for dinner and then started blogging, which I have been doing for quite sometime. I didn’t feel like doing homework, so I didn’t. Whoops. And yes, that was my day. 🙂 🙂
I had a total of 1400 calories.

The Weekend. Septemebr 28th-30th

So, I just deleted the note which had all of my food that I ate on Friday, but I’ll give you a gist of my day anyway.

I woke up early, had some Honey Bunches of Oats, showered and went to school. I then had to get all of homework I missed from the day prior.


Do you all think that coloring in Spanish is good? If we are not learning anything from it??? No? Well ,me neither but that’s we did. My Spanish partner exchanged the ‘help, get me out of this class’ looks throughout the period. It was terrible. Some of the kids actually enjoy it, but me? NO. After that. I went to yearbook and Math which were fun. I wrote my lead for my spread that I did. Fun. anyway, for lunch I had a sandwich, applesauce, carrots, and yogurt. After that, I went to the rest of my classes and in gym we did yoga.

LKIUSVHISH After school. Thank GOD, the weekend is here. I didn’t do any homework and now that I think about it, why didn’t I blog then? HMMMMM, don’t know. Anyway, this was amazing. I took a nap when I got home, this is why I didn’t blog (it’s all making sense now) and then afterwards I went outside and saw my dad and a few of my neighbors. apparently I haven’t seen my neighbors in a while because my one neighbor asked me if I was working out and that my legs looked slimmer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank goodness someone is noticing. She also called me beautiful. I wanted to hug her.

After that I had something for dinner. What? Don’t remember.

September 29th

Saturday, What a fun day, my favorite of the week to be exact, except of course when you wake up at 6:30 in the MORNING for no apparent reason. Yes not fun.

anyway, When I flopped out of bed, I had some oatmeal. I did some homework, blogged a little, and then at around non, I took a nap. At 1:40 my dad woke me up and then I showered, had two apples, got dressed and went to my grandparents for the night because my parents had a wedding to go to.  dflkgjdfigjreiogjidokhgjfighfkghfghghkdfnjdfhkfghksdfgsgijfsikgjsiogsjgksfhjgksfhgksfghersgjf Sorry for all of that nonsense, but this was honestly the greatest weekend of my life. I went to old Navy with my grandma. I bought 2 pairs of jeans. Size 10, not 12 like I was the last time I bought jeans. And 4 new shirts, size MEDIUM!! I have not been a medium since about 6th grade. I went into the dressing room, tried on the shirt, and legitimately started crying tears of joy because  I was so happy. It shows that with and work and dedication, with a few roadblocks along the way, progress can be achieved. I wanted to die, I was so happy.

Anyway, after shopping, my grandparents, sister and I went out to dinner. I got a pulled pork sandwich and some water. when I got back to their house, I did my econ homework, wrote my yearbook story, played cards then went to sleep.

I had a total of 1350 calories.


SEPTEMBER 30th 2012,

Can you believe it’s already the last day of September? Neither can I. anyway, since I had dropped sizes in all of my clothes, I decided to see how much I weighed. Now, I am not sure if I mentioned this or not, but I gained three pounds somewhere, and when I got my physical,I was 170 lbs. But, when I stepped onto that scale. 164 was staring me back in the face, Once again more tears of joy. I made a video of myself screaming and crying and just talking about my happiness that I may post one day. I am über happy. I honestly haven’t weighed that since I was 12. Hot damn, I feel accomplished.,

Well, I then got up and had some cereal. After that, my dad picked my sister and I up and my dad and I went and played 18 holes of golf at the course I am playing at for regionals on Wednesday. I shot a 119 and my coaches said that for that course, it was good. I honestly didn’t think I did too well, but that’s okay. During this time I had  a hotdog, Gatorade and after I had an apple.

After golfing, I came home, and chilled until 7 when I went out to dinner with some friends. We got tapas.  And then, I went home and finished up my homework and departed to bed after a great, and amazingly fantastic weekend.

I had a total of 1332 calories. 🙂

September 26th and 27th

Hello world and all who inhabit it. So, I have been a slacker and this past weekend was really fun and yeah, fun, so I need to hurry up with the week and get to the weekend. Ahh. Woot.


September 26th

Well this was Wednesday. I went in early to school for a study session for economics… And then went to class. but, before that, I had cereal. Honey Nut Cheerios to be exact. Fun.
I went to my morn classes and then lunch. I had a sandwich, applesauce, yogurt, and some carrots. Then, I went to gym and did 9 miles on the bike in about 25 minutes. After gym,  I went to economics and took my test. I did horribly. I got a C. Not acceptable by my standards. Anyway, then I came home and had dinner. I had pizza, Fun,

I hate not blogging everyday because I end up with crap posts like the one above because I don’t remember things. POOP!

Anyway, I had a total of 1360 calories.


September 27th

well, I had my conference for golf today. I woke up at 5, ate some toast and then my dad and I were off to Starbucks. I got a grande light mocha. I have to say it is better than the regular mocha, and with many fewer calories. Anyway, I got to school at 5:45, my one coach got there at 6, and my other coach didn’t get there until 625 and we were supposed to leave at 615. Whatever. After that, I played 18 holes of golf. I shot  a 126. I got a 66 on the front 9 and a 60 on the back. to be quite honest, I didn’t think I did too well. The winner of our conference shot a 72… Darn. But she had been playing for 15 years. And then there’s me, 1st year. The sad thing is, I did the 2nd best on my team. We came in 2nd in out conference out of 2… Darn. We lost by 115 strokes. Once again. darn. But, yeah. Anyway, I had two granola bars during the 18 holes and afterwards, we got chips, a hotdog and I had water to drink. When I came home, I did whatever homework I didn’t do from the day before and for dinner I don’t remember what I had. Whatever.

Anyway, I had a total of 1370 calories. I burned more calories than I consumed. That probably isn’t good. Because, generically, you burn about 1400 calories from walking 18 holes of golf, which I am okay with. 🙂

September 24th and Septmeber 25th

Monday, the glorious day of the week, well not really. I dread Mondays. Who doesn’t? Not sure unless you don’t work Mondays. anyway, getting off track.

Well, other than the fact that the 24th was a Monday and the 25th was a Tuesday, I don’t remember which day was which.

On Monday, and Tuesday, I awoke bright and early at 5:30 a.m. I then showered and got ready for the joyous location of school. Haha…no. I had cereal for breakfast on Monday and, on Tuesday, toast. Double Ts. Funny. anyway, I went to school, and then I went to lunch. On both Monday and Tuesday I had a sandwich, yogurt, grapes, and applesauce.

After school, I went to golf practice. We worked on putting and chipping. And then, on Monday after school, I went to my TV class, to catch up. I am finished with everything but I still have an F. Does this make sense to you? Doesn’t make sense to me… Anyway, I will need to talk to him on Monday (next Monday).  And then I  went home. I started my homework, and then had dinner. On Monday, I had a sandwich and a smoothie. And on Tuesday, I had pork chops and rice.

On mOnday I had a total of 1400 calories       On Tuesday, I had a total of 1318 calories.
