April Challenges Days 5-7

Hello! Well, I have been absent for the past few days. Friday- I spent about 5 hours working on a manual (we named him Manuel) for the kids in rouser next year. We stayed up until 1:30 in the morning so, I wasn’t going to post. I don’t really remember why I didn’t post yesterday. I think I didn’t feel like turning my computer on, and today, I went to the Cubs game. They lost, 10-7 in the 10th inning to the giants. We were winning 4-1 in the fifth, until the giants scored four and it just went down from there. Well, I have been continuing the 30 Day Shred. Friday, at dinner, some Creme Brulee was practically shoved down my throat so there goes that challenge. My knee has been getting rather angry with my excessive squat doing, so I’m taking a break from that as well, so I don’t end up on crutches once more. And, anyway after the Cubs game which where we were sitting (which was sunless) and about 45 degrees, we stepped out of Wrigley field and pulled off our fleeces and gloves because it was 72 outside. It was great. When we got home, I took my dog for about a two-mile walk.

Day 5- Why do you really want to lose weight? Are you doing it for you?

  • I really don’t know why I started. Ever since 7th grade, I have wanted to weight about 140-145 pounds. And now that I’ve lost 40 pounds, why not get to my goal weight.
  • I am doing it for me. I mean, my confidence level went from a -10 to a 5 sometimes higher and i want that to keep increasing

Day 6- Do you binge?If so, explain why you think you do this.

  • For the longest time I never knew what this meant… but i probably have. I don’t really know. Are there times when I’m just so hungry, I could possibly eat a whale. Yes, when this happens, I try to eat healthy foods or one piece of bread, and then just give myself 10 or 20 minutes. If I’m still hungry after then, I eat more, if not, I don’t eat more.

Day 7- Do your parents know you are trying to lose weight? Do they care?

  • My parents know I have lost weight, They know I workout every morning. I don’t know if they think I am trying to get thinner or healthier or what, I don’t know if they know for sure. Do they care? I assume they are happy for what I’ve accomplished

  1. Well, not sure how crazy this is, but I have two turtles (Squirt and Molly)
  2. Reese’s are my weakness.
  3. I find pleasure in correcting people’s grammar. Others hate it but i enjoy this. 🙂
  4. I have a younger sister, she’s 10
  5. I cannot blow my nose in public, like I can’t. It’s bad.
  6. I really like painting my nails, but when one chips, I have to take the rest of it off.
  7. I have higher expectations for myself than my parents do.

  9. I don’t wear makeup. People always ask me why. It’s because my parents weren’t fond of me doing so in middle school. My mom was going to let me freshman year, but I had gym first period so I decided to forget that, and now, I only wear it for dances.
  10. My two best subjects are Spanish and Math. And if blogging or singing, golfing, or acting doesn’t get me famous, I’ll do something with those two subjects.
  11. Throughout these past almost two years, I have really uncovered who I am and I couldn’t be happier.

1. If you could live in any city where would it be?

Well, I say L.A. or N.Y.C. because it has always been my goal to live in the top three populated cities in the U.S. but after that goal is fulfilled, maybe Madrid (Spain) or Phoenix AZ

2. What would be your favorite vacation destination?

Well, I want to go to Europe. Another goal of mine is to have visited every continent first (minus Antarctica) and then go to as many Countries as I can. So anywhere in Europe, Fiji, Honduras, the Galapagos Islands.

3. What is your biggest pet peeve?

 When people smack their gum in their mouth and when very tall people sit in front of me at the movies.

4. What is your favorite internet website?

5. Do you have a favorite restaurant or food?

Favorite food= any type of potato (not sweet potatoes) Favorite Restaurant= I love any place where there is BBQ

6. Who is your celebrate idol

Err, well I don’t know. Not to be mean, but a lot the celebrities I used to look up to are pot heads or have no hair, or both. So, I mean One direction, they’re pretty cool. I saw this quote “Lady gaga taught me it’s ok to be different. Ke$ha taught me to be myself and not care what others think. Eminem taught me life isn’t easy but I can make it through. Zayn taught me how to conquer my fears. Louis taught me to be myself and have fun. Niall taught me that everyone is beautiful in their own ways. Liam has taught me to be funny, cute, and serious at the same time. Harry has taught me how to be happy and go all out in life. One direction has taught me to follow my dreams. But most importantly Rebecca black has taught me the days of the week.” I really like that quote.

Marilyn Monroe is also someone I look up to. Yeah. “I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.”

7. If you had a whole day to do anything you wanted what would you do?

I think I wouldn’t do anything. I mean nothing of significance. I would just take a me day. I’d take a bath, Make myself look nice and I’d hangout with friends for a while. We’d talk and eat and have a good time, just like we normally would. And after we were done doing whatever, I’d come home, sit in my room, in front of the computer, take pictures of myself and scroll through the interwebs.

8. How would you rather travel?

I’m assuming this is by plane vs road tripping. Ummm. Well it depends. I love flying because it’s lickety-split and you’re there, but road trips are fun if you’re with your friends and are just getting away.

9. What is your biggest fear?

Like I said earlier, I cannot blow my nose in public. I can’t. But I hate spiders. Hate them. I can kill a random bug that’s on the ground no problem, but spiders, count me out. I’m not sure if I think those two extra legs can somehow assist in world domination, but I don’t like them,

10. What is your favorite sport?

I love playing basketball. I’m honestly not the greatest, so golf is always there.

11. If you were given the keys to any car what would you want them to be?

God, I haven’ even started driving, and you’re asking hat car. Well, my grandma has a 2013 red mustang. So, I would love a mustang.  She says i will be getting hers soon, so that’s great.

April Challenges Day 1… Round 2

Well my friends. Through my week of absence I have finally found the reason I have not once completed the 30 Day Shred. Like I am doing now with my English homework, I procrastinate. When  I wait until 10 O’Clock and night to do the 30 Day Shred, I have a better chance of not doing it, or doing it poorly, than actually trying. So, I have devised a plan on how I can do the 30 Day Shred, my No Junk Food Challenge which will start tomorrow, the 30 days of weight loss answering of questions, and the squat challenge. Ready for this?

Alright, Well, I’ll just give you my last night into today and we’ll talk about it

Well, last night I set an alarm for 5:20 and 5:30. Then, well normally I go to sleep at 8. “go to sleep.” By sleep, I mean lay in my bed and screw around on my phone until 11 and then sleep. Well, last night I was asleep before nine and alert and ready to go for my workout when my alarm went off at 5:20. So, I got out of bed, put my workout gear on, and did the 30 Day Shred… at 5:30 in the morning. I don’t remember doing this, but it happened. And, well it seems to me that I can’t do anything without getting injured. You see, it was Circuit 3 and I was going from chest flies to anterior raises and a side lunge when my knee rubbed against the floor. I figured it was just a rug burn so I kept going. After making the transition from the lunges back down to the floor, my knee caressed the floor and I smeared my blood on the carpet. It’s really great… just kidding.

Well that’s that. afterwards I make three hard-boiled eggs for myself. Just wanting to cleanse my body I did a face mask from Lush, they’re heavenly and showered. By the time I was done getting ready for school I had 20 minutes to spare so I just sat there on my couch, relaxing, something I usually don’t get to do in the morning.

Well, school… was school. English we were supposed to be blogging, blogging about the homework I didn’t do, which I have to do after I publish this post, then in yearbook class which my friend and I are…. Wait for it…. THE CO-EDITOR IN CHIEFS of the 2013-2014 yearbook. Woot, Any who, Yeah we had to give the kids in the class homework. I felt so in charge. That is, until they didn’t want to do it. But ehh, it’s due Thursday.

So, then the day went and went and it was fun and then lunch. Lunch was great. I was happily eating my apple until the giant centipede decided it would go for an afternoon stroll right where I was sitting (I was on the floor because my friends eat in the band room, so I eat there too at times). Yeah, the boys wouldn’t kill it and some girl didn’t want it dead, but then out of nowhere a girl hit it with her shoe, and it was dead, Alas, bye-bye buggy. Then, no one wanted to clean up the remains, so that was left for me. It’s only a bug, all is fine. I did lose my appetite however, picturing that crawling into my lunch box… GROSS

I am in AP Micro and MAcro econ so after school, I had to go to the lunch room for bubbling al of my answer keys (name, address, school, etc) so that when it came time for test taking, we could start bright and early. And that was my day.

So, I did finish my 50 squats, and the No Junk Food challenge commences tomorrow, and we’ll do day 1 of the whatever other challenge I’m doing.

  3. No junk Food Challenge – Should have started today… Easter candy… we’re having an end of the year “We finished the yearbook” party either today or Thursday, then it shall start
  4. 30 Day Weight loss Challenge- How tall are you? Do you like your height? I’m 5 ‘7’. Well i do enjoy my height. I’ve always wanted to be a little taller, maybe two or three inches and then I’d be happy.

So, after stopping the No Junk Food Challenge after school, my fitness pal got mad at me Let’s not talk about it. Anyway,  I have decided to steal this video from goodluckcaycee. I may or may not want to post something like this. I could use it!

So, daily, my food goals, as calculated on Myfintesspal is 1200 calories. I’ve already passed this and dinner isn’t complete. Well, Darn. Anywho, the No Junk Food Challenge starts tomorrow.
